Type: Guest House
Eagle House, built in 1750 by John Wood the Elder, Bath's premier 18th Century architect, is located 3 miles from Bath in the beautiful conservation village of Bathford. The house is set in 2 acres of landscaped garden and is a haven of tranquillity away from the noise and bustle of Bath.
Although the house is elegant and has the potential to be formal, the atmosphere is relaxed with the accent on friendly, helpful and attentive service. All rooms are with their own private facilities and some are large, well suited to families. One room in particular can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.
For those wishing to use a computer during their stay, all rooms in the main house have broadband internet access.
In addition, in the walled garden, adjacent to and adjoining the main garden, there is a two bedroom cottage equipped with a sitting room and kitchen.
