The Georgian Stables at Smallcombe House offers most original, charming & peaceful accommodation in one of Bath’s most delightful Georgian streets. Sydney Buildings is a city oasis, bordered on the one side by the Kennet & Avon canal with its lovely towpath walks and on the other by 500 acres of National Trust park and woodland and yet is only 8 minutes by foot from the heart of Bath.
The stables accommodation comprises romantic double bedroom, separate sitting room with sofabed and the former tack room now houses a state of the art shower room. This delightful suite is accessed via a horse ramp and charming cobbled yard which is for the exclusive use of guests.
We can also offer a very comfortable double beroom in the main house with its own private bathroom.
Smallcombe House and its beautiful terraced gardens enjoys one of the most striking views of the city of Bath and right across the road there is direct access to the Natinal Trust’s Smallcombe Wood and Smallcombe Farm which lead to the famous Skyline Circular Walk. Public transport is close by if required.
