Seven well equipped cottages all graded four stars with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings on working sheep farm with horses situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Luxurious heated indoor pool (12 metres by 5 metres) with shower and changing facilities. Wi-Fi Internet Access. All TVs with combined video/DVD player and freeview. Games Room with table tennis, table football, pool table, book and video library and various board games. Our welcome cream tea includes homemade scones, jam, organic clotted cream and milk from the family farm and locally produced biscuits with various beverages. Bathroom toiletries provided in refillable containers.

We are located on the edge of the village of Winsley only 5 miles from Bath and 2 miles from the Saxon town of Bradford on Avon. We are located on a main bus route. Buses run every 30 minutes throughout the day. Our village pub “The Seven Stars” serves good food and local ales and is just a short stroll (500 metres). Village shop/news agency/post office boasts long opening hours and is also within 500 metres. Separate laundry room with two washing machines, tumble drier and additional freezer space. There is ample parking – two cars per cottage. Three cottages sleep 2 persons and four cottages sleep 4 persons (maximum 22 persons). The cottages surround patio and enclosed landscaped area with garden furniture. Barbecue available. There is also a separate paddock available for games. The cottages have direct access to fields and country walks. Bike storage is available.

Road Directions

From M4 junction 18 Take A46 to Bath, left onto A4 then right on A363 to Bradford-on-Avon. Follow B3108 from Bradford-on-Avon to roundabout. Follow exit signposted Limpley Stoke/Bath. Farm on right on outskirts of Winsley. From Limpley stoke go up hill to Winsley ignoring sign to Dorothy House/Winsley. Church Farm is only 300 metres past this sign on left hand side. Look for Quality in Tourism Four Star sign on tree outside main farm/cottages entrance.

Public Transport Directions

Buses (X4 or X5) run every 30 minutes (approximately) throughout the day to Bath or Bradford on Avon/Salisbury. Nearest bus stop 500 metres at ‘Avon Park’. Nearest train stations at Bradford on Avon (2 miles) or Bath (5 miles). Good local taxi service.
