Looking for a lovely cottage away from the hustle and bustle of life? Look no further. Great Ashley Farm Cottage is just minutes from Bath, Longleat, Lacock, Stourhead, Bradford on Avon and the Cotswolds and will leave you with lovely memories.

This delightful two bedroom detached barn conversion is set on a family owned farm and equestrian yard it offers oil fired central heating throughout and beautiful soft furnishings. The cottage has a fully fitted craftsman-made kitchen with all the modern amenities expected of a four star property, integral dishwasher, fridge/freezer, midi hi-fi system and a utility area with laundry facilities. The lounge has comfy sofas, flat screen TV/DVD with a variety of DVD’s to watch, a basket of games and french doors leading to the patio.

The lovely cottage has a twin bedroom and double bedroom with lovely crisp white bed linen and wrought iron beds. In the bright airy bathroom there is always plenty of hot water, Bronnley toiletries and the bath has an overhead shower.

The holiday cottage near Bath was sympathetically renovated in 2000 and was formerly a hayloft it still retains many of its original features with old stone, vaulted ceilings, and beams. It is set in its own grounds with safe off street parking. There is a barbecue on the patio for those al fresco evenings or take a walk to the pub across the field! Many recommended pubs and restaurants are within easy reach, offering excellent food.

Great Ashley Farm Cottage makes an ideal base for families, cyclists, walkers and lovers of the countryside. Golfing breaks can be arranged with our neighbours at Cumberwell Park Golf Club.
Our cottage sleeps four and children are always welcome, regrettably we are unable to accept pets.

Don’t forget we run a B&B on the other side of the farm so we can always accommodate any friends or relatives that may want to come and stay!

Weekly lets, short breaks and weekend breaks are all available – We are sorry but we don’t accept credit cards at the moment.

Road Directions

1. At junction 18 of M4, take the A46 towards Bath. Follow the road for about 7 miles.
2. At the end of the dual carriageway take the A363 towards Bradford on Avon. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles.
3. You should see the Fox and Hounds pub on your right. Keep following the road for approximately 1 more mile.
4. Take the turn right signed to Ashley just before the Cumberwell Golf Course.
5. At the top of the lane you will reach a small crossraods - go straight over signposted towards Winsley.
6. After another 1/4 mile you will see some houses. Great Ashley Farm Cottage is the third house on the right hand side.

Public Transport Directions

There is a very good railway network to Bath and then a taxi is preferable. There are also rail links to Bradford on Avon.
Own transport, however, is recommended.
