Nestling at the foot of the Mendip Hills, just where the River Axe emerges from the fathomless darkness of Wookey Hole, this grand Jacobean style mansion boasts the most elegantly theatrical interior of any country house hotel. The hotel features 15 individually designed bedrooms, filled with exotic antiques and ancient curiosities.
The aptly named Riverview Restaurant overlooks the gorgeous River Axe as it meanders through the extensive gardens and is the perfect setting in which to enjoy classic French and British cuisine with a contemporary twist. There is also a Private Dining Room for up to 14 people.
Other pastimes and facilities include the sauna, plunge pool, croquet, billiards, and private fishing. The hotel even has its own cinema and cricket pitch!

Road Directions
M5 – Junction 22 take the A38 to Highbridge, before taking the A3139 to Wells.
M4 – Junction 18 take the A46 to Bath. Follow signs for A4 to Bristol, then the A39 to Wells.
From Wells follow signs for Wookey Hole Caves. Glencot Lane is on your left after a sharp left hand bend. Miller’s at Glencot House is on your right.

Trains into Castle Cary, Bath or Bristol. Fly into Bristol International Airport or hotel Helipad, co-ordinates on request.
