It’s small, it’s snug but it’s oh so special! The Salamander is great city-centre pub serving good food and a fine choice of beers from Bath Ales and beyond.
Neatly tucked away just off Queen Square in the heart of Georgian Bath, the site was historically a ‘steak and chop house’. The premises now consist of a well-stocked bar on the ground floor, and a relaxed dining room upstairs.
Using the finest produce from local suppliers, The Salamander is renowned for its imaginative and varied menu, which now also includes breakfast. You can eat informally in the bar, or in the dining room if you’re enjoying a special occasion.
The pub attracts an eclectic mix of customers and the staff are as happy to talk about brewing as they are to have a topical debate. The Sally is an oasis of quality beer and great food that’s easy to find but hard to forget.
