Camp Bigfoot is coming this Summer! Treat your tribe to a five day family adventure they’ll never forget.

HOW DOES IT WORK

You’ll stay at Mendip Basecamp, our award winning family campsite. Once you're here you’ll have time to set up your tent or campervan. If you don't have a tent, you can hire one of our Nomadic Bunk Tents in advance and it will be set up ready for you. We’ll take care of the rest!

  • We have 3 dates available in Summer 2023:
  • -Monday 24th to Friday 28th July
  • -Monday 7th to Friday 11th August
  • -Monday 14th to Friday 18th August

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST

  • Ages 6 to 15: £199
  • Ages 16+: £249

Nomadic Bell Tent: £250 per tent (You'll still need your own roll mats, sleeping bags, pillows and outdoor cooking equipment)
Please note, lunch and extra drinks are not included. You can bring your own lunch or purchase it in the Lodge.

The day off is for you to explore the local area or just relax. If you want more non-stop adventure, you can book watersports at our local watersports site (additional cost applies).

FOOD & DRINK

Start each day with a hot breakfast roll and a proper tea, coffee or orange juice served in camp in the Pavilion. Dinner varies each evening and includes a buffet barbecue, two nights dining in Mendip Lodge where you are free to simply order any meal from the menu and an evening cooking out under the stars on an open fire! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and water are included with your meal and you are welcome to pay for soft drinks, wine or beer.

Let us know of any dietary requirements when you complete your booking and we'll make sure everyone is catered for.

Who is this for? Camp Bigfoot is an adventure camp for the whole family. No previous experience is necessary and you don’t need to be super-fit. You just need to be up for having fun and want to spend quality time together. Our instructors are the best and are very friendly, patient and encouraging. We’ll always go at your pace and include everyone whatever your ability.

What do I need to bring?
You’ll need to bring your own tent or campervan unless you are renting a Bell Tent. Read our fully kit list here.

Can I bring a dog?
Due to the nature of the activities we include at this camp it is not suitable for dogs.
