Bath Folk Festival

This exciting festival returns to Bath for the third year from 10-18 August 2013 and will be providing concerts, education and opportunities to play folk music at various locations in Bath.

The Bath Folk Festival is cited as one of the most exciting new folk festivals to emerge in the UK drawing on a mix of Internationally acclaimed acts and the wealth of local talent in the Southwest.

It is a grass roots festival run by and for musicians & dancers who are passionate about the rich cultures represented. This will be an opportunity to no only hear some fantastic music, but more importantly it will be an opportunity to learn music with the traditional music summer school.

Confirmed acts for this year’s Festival include Lunasa, James Fagan and Nancy Kerr, Damien O’Kane Trio, featuring Ed Boyd and John-Joe Kelly, Rory McLeod, Martin Pearson, Karen Tweed with Kevin Dempsey and Carolyn Robson, Jon Hicks, Jay Walkers, Inu, Effra, Sid Goldsmith and Jimmy Aldridge, Angel Ridge and many more.
