New Gardeners’ Market launches in Bath...
Spring’s on the way, the garden beckons! Sunday April 22nd 2012 sees the launch of DIGIN! The very first Bath Gardeners’ Market at Green Park Station, Bath, from 9.30am to 4pm.
DIGIN! Was conceived by Rick and Tom from The Garden Works Company a Landscape Maintenance company covering Bristol & Bath. Rick and Tom have worked with TV’s Phil Spencer on the Secret Agent, the roof gardens at Cabot Circus, and a whole host of corporate and residential clients across the South West. Tom says “We thought it was high time we organised, displayed and showcased some of the companies and independents that deal within the gardening trade and public that we have come to know and love. Gardening is our passion and we wanted to set up a market event that had everything from plants to pergolas! ”
This is the first gardening event of its kind in the heart of Bath. “We have carefully organised this event so that the general public, families and the industry can enjoy a day out as well as shop for all their garden needs and speak to a few experts along the way. We have hand picked stalls selling a diverse cross section of gardenware, from artificial grass to hens for your back garden! Traders that are well informed and experienced in their chosen fields, Beekeepers, willow weavers, tree surgeons and wildlife charities will all be involved. This event will give people an opportunity to watch learn and interact.”
