If you are looking for something truly memorable and utterly unique - a skippered trip aboard an historic river launch could be just the tonic.
The Lady Lena, an electric Victorian river launch, suitable for parties of between 2-10 people, can be chartered for anything from 2-6 hours and from there the choice is yours.
We have access to a 9 mile stretch of the beautiful Kennet and Avon canal anywhere from Bath to Bradford on Avon, picking you up from either Bath or Bathampton for a return journey. You will be welcomed with a crystal glass flute of Champagne, and then settle back into the cushions for a hopefully unforgettable, relaxing cruise.

Lady Lena is carpeted and fully upholstered seating 10 comfortably for canapés, an afternoon picnic, or cream tea, or a feast worthy of a Michelin star or two. As we are a family concern we are able to offer fine catering through a good caterer, or let you bring your own ideal menu with no corkage charges or hidden extras. We can supply all you need to eat in comfort: tablecloths, china plates, cutlery and glasses. There is a small fridge on board for cold drinks etc, and a small toilet for convenience.
A traditional cream tea with award winning homemade scones is also available, please call us for costs.
The boat has an interesting history in that she was found as a wreck and about to be burnt as firewood, rescued by Jenkyn who paid £1.00 for her and then brought to Bath to be restored for a few more! She was built on the Thames in1890 and is now the oldest electric launch in existence and has been lovingly restored by him back to how she was then.
