Weston Lawn is a family run Georgian House extended in Victorian times. William and Fiona Close provide a quiet and relaxing stay in our classically decorated period style rooms and offer continental or full English cooked breakfast.

All our rooms have en-suite or private facilities and are fully equipped with colour TV, radio and tea and coffee making facilities.

We serve breakfast in our dining room from 7.30am to 9.30am where you can read the daily papers. Locally produced food is served where possible. The room price includes continental breakfasts, there is a £4 supplement for each cooked English breakfast.

Situated in the village of Weston, Weston Lawn is a comfortable 25 minute walk from the city centre mostly through Victoria Park, taking you past the Botanical Gardens and the Royal Crescent. There is also an excellent bus service and you can leave your car safely with us on our drive in front of the house. Our local pub serves evening meals as an alternative to the many restaurants in the centre of Bath.

Our three lovely rooms are all decorated in the style of our country house, offering Double, Twin, Family and single accommodation.

We still have evidence in our garden of the Roman times when Weston, with its many natural springs coming off the hills, was a laundry district to Bath. When our house was built, its own water supply was secured in a barrel vaulted underground chamber.

Road Directions

From M4 Jct 18 take A46 towards Bath. At roundabout turn right onto A420 (Bristol). At staggered junction turn left to Lansdown. Pass racecourse, turn right at traffic island sign posted Weston. Turn left at roundabout at bottom of hill, then turn left after pedestrian crossing into one way street, onto Crown Hill. Continue to Old Crown pub on right at the top of the hill. Lucklands Road is on left, Weston Lawn is 3rd on left.

Public Transport Directions

From Bath Spa - 1.5 miles.
The number 14 bus will take you to Weston village from the central bus station (beside the train station). It is a 3 minute walk from the bus stop; up Crown Hill and left into Lucklands Road, opposite the Old Crown pub - 3rd house on the left.
