Type: Guest House
At Dorian House, ten minutes’ walk from the centre of the city, guests can expect a warm welcome and high standards of accommodation. In common with many of Bath’s bed and breakfast establishments, Dorian House occupies a period building with spacious rooms full of character. Built circa 1880, this is a splendid Victorian house which has retained many of the original period features. If music be the food of love…then there could be a treat in store for guests. Owner, Tim Hugh is Principal Cellist with the London Symphony Orchestra and if guests are lucky enough to hear him practicing it will melt their hearts. He appeared in the 2005 Bath Music Festival to a rapturous reception at Bath Abbey. Creature comforts such as crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels and tea and coffee making facilities ensure that every stay is a comfortable one.
