Withy Mills Farm

Withy Mills Farm is a working dairy farm dating back to the 18th century. Nestling in the folds of the Cam Valley, the buildings look out towards the surrounding countryside from the Mendip Hills down to the Somerset Coal Canal basin in the depths of the valley.

There are three cottages surrounding the courtyard each enjoying an extensive view across this rural landscape. The farm lies one mile from the village of Timsbury situated between Bath and Bristol. The cottages have been sympathetically restored from stone farm buildings to provide luxury accommodation for 21st century living. Original stone and joinery have been re-used where possible and traditional methods used to bring the buildings back to their former glory.

Whippletree Cottage was originally a barn store and now provides accommodation on two levels suitable for four guests in two double rooms. Both rooms have exposed oak beams and have a contemporary but cosy atmosphere. The shower room is laid out as a wet room.
The Engine House is laid out as a studio apartment with kitchen, sitting room and bathroom downstairs and a spiral staircase leading up to the galleried bedroom above. Relax on the 6ft wide bed or unwind in its whirlpool bath.

Wharfingers Cottage, named after the old cottage which was situated by the canal basin, is all on one floor. Enter the cottage into the kitchen/living room area and a corridor takes you down to the bathroom and double bedroom. The bathroom has a luxurious corner whirlpool bath large enough for two! Underfloor heating throughout is provided by our geo-thermal heat pump, however if you wish, you can take advantage of the wood burning stove each cottage with a complimentary basket of logs provided. A welcome cream tea is also included with organic, local or home made produce.

All the cottages have a private garden area to the rear from where you can admire the views, and relax. Wooden garden chairs and a table are provided.

Large white towels and 100% cotton bed linen are provided in each cottage.
Timsbury village only 1 mile away has 2 pubs, a grocery store, newsagent, post office, chemist and hairdresser.
