Milsom Place lines up autumn events

11th August 2011

Milsom Place will be holding two enticing events this autumn - Dress to Impress and the Fine Cheese Co. Festival.

‘Dress to Impress’ with Milsom Place in Bath on Thursday 8th September, 6.00-8.00pm as they hold an evening fashion event dedicated to inspiring your professional working wardrobe (visit www.milsomplace.co.uk for further details).

Dressing for the office doesn't mean leaving your personal style behind or ignoring on trend fashion.  This exclusive event aims to offer you a polished, professional look with this season’s most wearable office fashions. Shop after work as Milsom Place fashion retailers stay open late, offering a fashionista pampering of luxury goody bags, drinks, nibbles and a personal service throughout the evening. For those wishing to make it a girlie night out, book a table at the new Cote restaurant and celebrate your new look with a complimentary glass of Kir Royale with your main course.

The cream of British artisan cheese makers will be heading to Bath for the Fine Cheese Co. Festival at Milsom Place on Saturday 29th October 2011. Cheese aficionados are treated to tasters and talks by 20 of Britain’s finest artisan cheese makers. The Fine Cheese Co. Festival at Milsom Place in Bath runs from 10.00am until 5.00pm.

Milsom Place has gained a reputation for running high quality food events, attracting headline acts including traditional Cheddar by Keen’s and Westcombe, both of whom still make unpasteurised Cheddar bound in cloth; Sharpham Brie; top cheese award winner Golden Cenarth by Caws Cenarth;  Curworthy Cheese by Devon Oke; Keltic Gold by Whalesborough Farm; and Whitelake Cheese.

According to Ann-Marie Dyas, Owner of the Fine Cheese Co. “cheese makers will be showing off the cheeses that are their pride and joy. To have the cream of British artisan cheese makers all together in Bath with their cheeses is very special.”“The festival has to be one of the most exciting celebrations of all that is good about British food imaginable and entry is free.  Last year the visitors to Milsom Place sampled and learnt a lot and the cheese makers, who rarely leave their cheeses, had a ball meeting their customers face to face. We all went home happy – which is just as it should be,’ she continued.
