A golden city paved with shops

A golden city paved with shops

Food and Drink

Bath has some excellent specialist food shops where you will find delicious chocolates, tasty cheese, rare wines, unusual sausages and fresh fish.

The indoor Guildhall Market has a good variety of cheese, sweets, specialist tea, a deli and an epicerie. For local, fresh produce, the Bath Farmers' Market in Green Park Station takes place every Saturday.

Bath is the perfect place to have afternoon tea and can be enjoyed in the elegant Pump Room or in Sally Lunn's Refreshment House where you can sample the famous bun in one of the oldest houses in Bath. Visit Gillards Tea in the Guildhall Market where you can buy quality leaf teas to take home.
