THE HALCYON
The Halcyon hotel is your contemporary launch pad for exploring the many faces of Georgian Bath. Whether it’s dipping a toe in the waters, munching on a Sally Lunn’s bun or exploring the crescents, we’ll make your stay something special. Conveniently located within the city’s beating heart, 2 minutes walk from the station, the Abbey, the Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge and all the other excitements of buzzing Bath.

At the Halcyon we’ve created the kind of hotel we’d love to visit ourselves. That means more of the things you want, and less of the unnecessary extras you don’t. So you’ll get a stunning Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouse in a to-die-for location, tip-top technology, luxury products, organic breakfasts, a cosy bed and oh-so-soft pillow. What you won’t find is a costly-to-run restaurant, empty ballrooms, or nasty hidden costs. It all means we can serve up a heavy-duty luxury at a light-on-the-wallet price.
THE ROOMS
Contemporary room furnishings include a large 1700 pocket spring bed, fluffy pillows, sumptuous soft fabrics, a 32’’ plasma TV and White Company products. And your bathroom is decked out with slinky Philip Stark fittings, walk-in showers, stroke-able tiles, topped off with the reviving Raindance style showerhead. Wakey, wakey!
Bachelor pad, crash pad, city launch pad? Our four studios give you all Halcyon’s trademark style, with a bit more independence. Each one includes a small kitchen area for rusting up mid-afternoon snacks or late-night nibbles. And there’s a handy seating area for chomping on a croissant or tucking in to a takeaway…but when you’ve been out exploring all day and all you need is a table for dinner reach over to our in-room telephone that has 10 preset numbers for the very best range of selected local restaurants waiting to take your reservation.

Bath may be framed for its Roman heritage and costume drama connections, but at the Halcyon hotel you’ll get the big picture on this fascinating little city. We’ll point you in the direction of the tucked-away alehouses and cultural gems, the top eateries and quirky shops. Hop on a Halcyon bike, jump in a boat or simply step out, map in hand.

• At Cold Ashton Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A46
• Branch Left, then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A4
• At Cleveland Place turn left onto the A36
• At traffic signals bear right onto the A36
• At Bathwick Hill Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A36
• At traffic signals turn right onto North Parade Road
• Continue forward onto North Parade
• Turn left onto Piereepont Street
• Arrive on Pierrepont Street.
There is a pay and display car park directly opposite The Halcyon.
