Avon Valley Railway The Avon Valley Railway departs from the old Midland Railway Station at Bitton for a nostalgic six mile return trip on a restored steam train along the lovely River Avon Valley. Events during the year allow children to meet Thomas the Tank Engine and friends or ride free on a train if they bring their teddy at the Teddy Bears Picnic event.
