Bath Academic Holidays

Bath Academic Holidays offers young adults, particularly Japanese ladies, a ten day holiday in Bath staying with an English family. Tuition, both fomal and informal in English language skills will be delivered by qualified teachers and historical and cultural visits will also be included.

Students will be collected and returned to the airport and escorted on any trips. Traditional English food will be served and opportunities to experience English life and culture will be given. Students will be encouraged in a friendly and kind way to become increasingly confident in spoken English and dealing with everyday situations.

All visitors will be met at the airport, bus or rail station. Nearest airport is Bristol. Nearest rail and bus station is Bath.

Public Transport Directions

From Bath railway station cross the road to the bus station and take the X39 marked 'Bristol' and ask for 'Old Newbridge Hill'. Alight from the bus, cross the road (Newbridge Road), walk back towards Bath for 50 metres. Newbridge Gardens is on your left. Number 11 is at the top.
