See the Museums and Galleries come alive at night and in the afternoon too!

Programme of free entertainment and activities in Queen Square

On the stage...

3.00pm - Post Horn Player opens the event
3.30pm - Georgian Dancing
4.00pm - Martial Arts demonstration
4.30pm - Georgian Dancing
5.00pm - Martial Arts demonstration
5.30pm - Whiskey Down rock 'n' roll band with Jive dance lessons

Marquees with exciting activities for all ages....

Origami workshops, Create a Roman column, Victorian dressing-up, Discover amazing objects, Hands on arts, crafts & printing activities, Model-making, Made in Bath fun with plasticine & meccano, Meet a Georgian lady and hear about wild masquerades in Sydney Gardens, Make a mask, put on a patch & decorate a snuff box.

Activities provided by Holburne Museum, American Museum, Bath Preservation Trust, Victoria Art Gallery, Fashion Museum, Roman Baths, Museum of East Asian Art & Radstock Museum

...and in the evening the following museums will be open

Museum of Bath at Work
Open all day until 10.00pm
Enjoy a recital of radiophonic music with films provided by the Bath Sound/Light Workshop amongst the museum displays.

‘If Music be the Food of Love, Play On’
Enjoy an evening of romantic music by Purcell, Handel and Dowland
by Prior Park Baroque, with performances between 6.00-7.30pm.

Free lessons in Georgian dancing beginning at 7.00pm & 8.00pm.

Roman Baths
8.00- 11.30pm
Visit the torch-lit Roman Baths, find out about Roman cookery, enjoy a tasting session, meet costumed characters, bar and live music.

Entry is free to Bath and North East Somerset residents,
on production of a Discovery Card
