Abbey Ales Celebrates 10 Years

Drinkers across Bath are raising a toast to mark ten years of top tipples from Abbey Ales. Alan Morgan set up Abbey ten years ago - reviving a brewing tradition in the city that had been lost for decades.

And, to this day Abbey Ales are still the only brewery in the World Heritage City and only supply to outlets within a 20 mile radius of the brewery including the brewery's own pubs The Star Inn and The Coeur De Lion.

The firm's first pint was produced in October 1997 and the brewery has been swamped by demand for its flagship best bitter Bellringer ever since.

10 years on,a range of guest and seasonal beers has been added, including Black Friar, Twelfth Night and Chorister and this months it will produce its seasonal Mild for May.

Look out for Abbey Ales during your visit to Bath, or buy a souvenier before you get her - beers and merchandise are available on line at www.abbeyales.co.uk
