Summer Season Heats Up as ‘Taste of Bath’ Approaches

Kick start the summer season by reserving your place at 'Taste of Bath' the ultimate al fresco dining experience in Royal Victoria Park, Bath, between June 28 and July 1 2007.

Taste of Bath eventSet in the shadow of the Bath's famous Royal Crescent 'Taste of Bath' will celebrate South West England's gastronomic talents with a food festival as part of 'Taste Festival's' celebration of food from across the British Isles.

Guest appearances from a range of celebrity chefs will take place in The Times Chefs' Theatre, where the likes of Antony Worrall-Thompson, Aldo Zilli, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Richard Bertinet will share their trade secrets.

There will also be the opportunity to sample some of South West England's specialities at a producers market hosted by delicious. Magazine Chefs involved in 'Taste of Bath' have been quick to nominate their suppliers to partake in the opportunity to display and sell their produce at the Festival. Top producers from across the region will be showcasing their product ranges which include the Thoroughly Wild Meat Company, The Chocolate Workshop and Westaway Sausages.

At 'Taste of Bath' there will also be an opportunity to meet with the team from Channel 4's 'River Cottage' in the dedicated marquee. Another feature is the Speciality Beer Master Classes which will teach visitors how to select, understand and enjoy different types of Speciality Beers. Food matching and tasting will aim to deliver an appreciation of Speciality Beers, ranging from the fruit beer Belle-Vue to Artois Bock.

The BlueRooms bandstand, presented by Venue magazine, will showcase an eclectic mix of local music, jazz, funk and acoustic sets throughout the festival.
