Top Award for Jane Austen Centre's Regency Tea Rooms

The Regency Tea Rooms at the Jane Austen Centre have been awarded Tea Guild Member status.

The tearooms join the Pump Room as Bath and Bristol's only fully inspected and certified Tea Guild members.

The Tea Guild is a prestigious and unique organisation that
represents and encourages those outlets who are dedicated to both brewing and serving tea to the high standards desired by the United Kingdom Tea Council.

Membership of the prestigious Tea Guild is strictly by invitation only. If after rigorous inspection the establishment then meets Tea Guild standards they are invited to become a member.
'Bath Tourism Plus is delighted to hear that the Regency Tea Rooms at the Jane Austen Centre have been invited to join The Tea Guild. This is another example of a Bath attraction being committed to achieving the very highest standards,' said Robin Bischert, Chief Executive,
Bath Tourism Plus.'Recognition under a national accreditation scheme helps give visitors the confidence that they are receiving both a quality product as well as the high standards of service they are entitled to expect, and for which Bath is renowned. The Tea Guild is a prestigious body and only around a hundred establishments across the whole of England, Scotland and Wales have been awarded this accreditation. BTP would like to congratulate the Regency Tea Rooms on achieving this standard'

The Regency Tea Rooms are open to the public every day from 9.45am.
