Lucknam Park Chef short listed for Award
The short listed nominees for the 2007 debut Hotel Catey Awards have been announced this week and up for Chef of the Year, for hotels with less than 250 covers is Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park Hotel, Colerne, just 6 miles from Bath.
The awards, launched alongside sister award the Cateys earlier this year, are designed to allow hoteliers to celebrate the achievements of their staff and give them industry-wide recognition.
The Cateys have recognised and celebrated the hospitality industry's highest flyers and strongest performers for 24 years. This year's addition of the Hotel Cateys to the Caterer Group's portfolio of awards events will reward the unsung heroes of the hotel industry. As with the Cateys, recipients of Hotel Cateys have been nominated, selected and recognised by their industry peers.
The 2007 Hotel Cateys will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday 13 November.
