Staff from the Cavendish HotelAt the AA Hospitality Awards Gala Dinner held at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane on Monday 17th September 2007, it was announced that the Cavendish Restaurant at Dukes Hotel has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes. It is one of only two restaurants in Bath to currently hold this award and is the only new restaurant in the City to be selected this year. In total twentyone restaurants in England and Wales which have demonstrated culinary mastery and excellence were new multi-Rosette winners.

The Cavendish Restaurant opened in 2005, both as a restaurant for residents staying at Dukes Hotel and as a destination dining venue. Within a year of opening the Cavendish was awarded 2 AA Rosettes for the quality of the cuisine and is therefore delighted to now receive the prestigious third Rosette.

The style of cooking is modern British and the emphasis is on seasonal menus, using the best local organic, free range and unsprayed ingredients. They source produce from the West Country; game comes from Gloucestershire, beef and lamb from the Chew Valley in Somerset, seafood arrives daily from Devon and vegetables and salads are grown locally". The results speak for themselves in the beautifully presented dishes which maintain a perfect balance of flavours and texture.

Restaurant Manager, Eric Floch, and his staff at the Cavendish Restaurant also acknowledge that service and the choice of wines is an important part of the dining experience, and they strive to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining a highly professional level of service.
