New Year's Resolution at Thermae Bath Spa
Thermae Bath Spa has now been operating for more than two years, during which time we have welcomed more than 300,000 guests through our doors. It is no surprise, therefore, that the baths and the buildings have taken a lot of wear and tear.
Thermae Bath Spa are constantly making improvements but there are some areas of work which can only be done properly if there are no guests using the spa facilities. For this reason, they have taken the decision to close from 1st - 8th January 2009. They plan to re-open on Friday 9th January 2009 and will be taking bookings for Saturday 10th January 2009 onwards.
During this time the following projects will be carried out:
- Drain, clean, repaint and refill the Minerva Bath
- Drain, clean, repaint and refill the open-air rooftop pool
- Repair and repaint the walls & ceiling in the Steam Rooms
- Other essential maintenance work
In preparation for this programme of work, Thermae Bath Spa have blocked off all bookings for this period.
