Designed by Brunel, visited by Queen Victoria, now lovingly restored. Near bus and rail station, close to all attractions. Air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant plus two air-conditioned bars. Excellent reputation for quality of food - specialising in grills, with a long established reputation for the 'best steaks in town'. All bedrooms are very comfortable and are non-smoking. All rooms are en suite (2 offering four-poster beds) and have satellite TV, direct dial telephone, modem points, hair dryer and trouser press, plus tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits and mineral water. Complimentary cotton slippers are provided in all bedrooms (with effect from April 2008) plus the use of bathrobes for guests in the four poster and superior rooms. A perfectly located, friendly hotel and an ideal base from which to enjoy our lovely city. There is a small meeting room (10 persons). Free WIFI.

From M4 jct 18 take A46 then A4 towards Bath. Once on A4 turn left towards A36 at 2nd major set of traffic lights, go over the bridge and past the fire station. Turn right at the end of the road on to the A36, direction of Bristol. Go straight on at the roundabout, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights. Go to the end of the road then turn left at the traffic lights down Pierrepont Street. Go to the end of the road - the railway station is in front of you and the hotel is on the left.
Opposite both Bath railway and bus stations.
