The interactive American Heritage Exhibition precedes a series of attractive period rooms dating from colonial times until the eve of the Civil War.
Includes an outstanding quilt collection, inspiring Folk Art gallery and fascinating map exhibition.
Has special annual exhibition (March-Oct) with an exciting calendar of events, plus festive Christmas displays to end the year (Nov-Dec).
Quilting Bee - every Tuesday afternoon from 12.00 to 4:00pm, quilting groups from the area demonstrate their talents and chat with visitors about this vibrant and contemporary art. Included with full museum admission.

Road Directions
Take Exit 18 from the M4 joining the A46 to Bath (10 miles). At major traffic lights take left turn to A36 Warminster. Follow signs for University and American Museum.
Public Transport Directions
By Bus: No. 18 or 418 university bus to 'The Avenue'. museum 10 - 15 minutes downhill walk.
By Coach: Must approach via Bathwick Hill (turn right at A36 junction, following signs to university).
