The Avon Valley Railway is more than just a steam train ride, offering a whole new experience for some or a nostalgic memory for others. Steam trains run to the edge of the scenic Avon Valley. Special events arranged throughout the year including courses on how to drive a steam engine, monthly Sunday lunch trains, and children’s parties.

On the A431 main road, approximately one mile from the town of Keynsham. Car parking spaces are available at Bitton station, and are free.
Public Transport Directions
The nearest station to Bitton is Keynsham which is on the Bristol - Weymouth and Cardiff Central - Portsmouth Harbour train services.
Buses 532 and 533 from Keynsham run twice an hour Monday to Saturday from the stop immediately across the road from Keynsham station car park entrance,
From Bristol or Bath, you can ride along the popular Bristol/Bath Railway Path (Route 4 of the National Cycle Network).
