Mad Max Tours

Mad Max Tours is the friendly, fun and relaxed way to see the beautiful countryside surrounding Bath. Our family run business offers small-group tours (16 max) which run all year. Our experienced local guides tell interesting facts and local legends and give you plenty of exploring time off the bus.

Tour 1: Full day tour to Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe. See white horse chalk carvings, thatched cottages, Meriton from BBC’s Pride & Prejudice and Harry Potter’s parents’ house, with an optional lunch in a traditional 700 year old pub.

Tour 2: Full day tour of the Cotswolds including Bibury, Stow on the Wold, the Slaughters and other beautiful villages with the chance to have a Cotswold cream tea and a countryside walk.

Tour 3: Half day tour of Stonehenge and Lacock National Trust Village. See thatched cottages, Harry Potter’s parents’ house and Meriton from BBC’s Pride & Prejudice.

Road Directions

We suggest you park at Charlotte St long stay car park or use the Park & Ride bus service into the centre of Bath.

Public Transport Directions

From Bath Spa train station walk up left side of Manvers Street, cross at traffic lights. Round the corner you’ll see Bath Aqua Glass, Orange Grove from where tours depart.
