The Festival of the Tree is one of the biggest events of the year at Westonbirt Arboretum. Months of planning culminates in twelve carvers working with chainsaws to transform wood from the arboretum into stunning works of art, family activities and trails and traders from around the country selling everything from turned bowls to jewellery.
Sculptree -International chainsaw carving artists gather to create magnificent sculptures from giant limbs of wood. This event culminates on August Bank Holiday Monday, when the sculptures are auctioned early afternoon to raise money for TreeAid.
Family-tree - Lots of things for CHILDREN to do during this week, including the William Woodworm Trail.
Exhibit-tree - Four fantastic days with over 150 wood crafts both demonstrating their skills or selling their amazing products. Held on the Downs at Westonbirt both in and out of Marquees, dogs are welcome to wander around with you.
