Bath Christmas Market

Each year, the Abbey Churchyard area – a magical setting in the shadow of Bath Abbey and next to the Roman Baths, right in the centre of the stunning Georgian city’s shopping district, is transformed into a Christmas shoppers’ haven – Bath Christmas Market.

The internationally renowned festive gift market is set to go ahead in its 10th anniversary year from 25th November – 12th December 2010, gaining a whole extra week of fun on previous years.

123 traditional wooden chalets full of everything you’ll need to prepare for the perfect Christmas will adorn the streets. If you are looking for something extra special to make your Christmas perfect, Bath Christmas Market is the place you’ll find it. All of the retailers sell unique, handcrafted items, many of which are made in the local area and the South West.

The sound of choirs singing carols drifting through the market, colourful decorations brightening the streets and aromas of mulled wine and cinnamon on the air all create a magical atmosphere and will help to get you in the festive spirit!
