The Bath International Music Festival has an illustrious artistic history and has long been a well-established event of national significance and international reputation, presenting a dynamic mix of world-class performers in Baths’ wonderful venues.

The Festival takes place annually over 12 days in late May/early June, and showcases a rich range of high quality events featuring orchestral and classical virtuosos, jazz giants, folk, roots and world musicians.

Amongst this years Festival themes is a focus on Dance, culminating in a unique performance by the English National Ballet & Orchestra in beautiful Bath Abbey on Saturday 5 June. Other Festival highlights include Opera in the Roman Baths, Classical music recitals at the Assembly Rooms, Jazz & Soul at the Pavilion, and a strong programme of Folk music headlined by the popular Scottish singer Eddi Reader.

General Booking opens on Friday 12 March 2010. The next Bath International Music Festival takes place on 26th May - 6th June 2010.
