Bath residents can once again enjoy Bath’s biggest public firework display on Saturday 3 November (University of Bath campus, 6-10pm).
The Bight Orange Family Fireworks will be held at the University of Bath’s Claverton Down campus, and will feature the usual funfair and radio road-show, as well as the fireworks display itself, provided by the Northern Lights team.
In addition, there will be live performances showcasing student talent ranging from fire juggling to singing and dancing.
The road-show will be provided by 1449AM URB, the student radio station, with performances by University arts societies.
There will be a marquee serving drinks, as well as several catering vans serving a variety of food.
The event is organised by Bath Rag, the student fundraising group which is part of the University of Bath Students’ Union.
There is a suggested donation of £2 per person or £5 per family with proceeds going to local charities.
Bath Rag has raised over £1 million since it began in 1967, and each year donates funds to around 50 local and national charities.
