The theme of this years heritage open week is "Storytelling/Word of Mouth" to co-incide with the National Year of Reading.
Radstock Museum Education Group has adopted an overall title "Once upon a time, millions of years ago ..." and will run a Fossil hunt on the Batch on Monday 27th October from 1.30pm (meet at the Museum) until 3.00pm. Children should be dressed appropriately for an outdoor activity and accompanied by an adult. A hammer and a plastic bag should be brought for "finds". Also, an Activity Session entitled "Did Dinosaurs roam in Radstock" will be held at the Museum on Tuesday 28th October from 2.00pm until 4.00pm. Both events are free.
