The performance costumes worn by the Supremes are to go on show at the Assembly Rooms, Bath from 25 July - 31 August 2009.
Visitors will be able to see more than 50 outfits worn by the Motown legends in this year's 50th anniversary of Motown Records. The exhibition will also feature the group's music, album covers and some archive footage to be hosted by the the V&A touring exhibition which is presented in collaboration with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Supremes exhibition will be included in the entrance ticket to the Fashion Museum at the Assembly Rooms. More information on displays at the Fashion Museum can be found at www.fashionmuseum.co.uk

Motown is 50! Birthday Special, 11pm – 4am
Nothing but Motown tunes (MO-tunes) from the swingin' 60s/early 70s! Expect Diana Ross and The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Marvelettes, Gladys Knight, Four Tops, Isley Brother, Edwin Starr et all.
Presented by Da Doo Ron Ron, as heard on the Craig Charles Funk & Soul show.

One day Motown Classics Workshop, 12.00 – 8.00pm
The Octagon at the Assembly Rooms
The workshop involves an afternoon of music, singing and dancing, lead by American Jazz vocalist Joan Davis, featuring the Anders Olinder trio. The workshop will follow on to include an evening performance and sing along by workshoppers and audience.
