Having completed an award-winning renovation of the Grade 1 listed former Beau Nash Cinema in 2008, Komedia Bath has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s leading live entertainment venues with an unparalleled mix of comedy, music and cabaret shows. Most recently Komedia Bath has won the Chortle Award for Best Venue in West and Wales - the entertainment industry’s leading accolade; and is also home to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen.
Komedia built its reputation at their renowned Brighton venue where many of today’s stars such as Graham Norton, Catherine Tate, Harry Hill, Keane, Duffy and Supergrass started their careers. Komedia Bath has further enhanced this reputation and has quickly become the venue of choice on many UK music and comedy tours and also by hosting events in Bath’s many festivals.
Komedia Bath also offers the Best Night Out in the South West every Saturday at the Krater Comedy Club. This night out combines the very best of stand up comedy with dining provided by our in-house partner River Cottage which can be rounded off under one roof, with dancing at the universally popular Motorcity club night. At Komedia Bath you can have the Best Night Out in the South West every Saturday of the year and as Krater Comedy Club has become so popular, it has been extended to Friday’s along side the monthly outing of the daringly risqué Ministry of Burlesque cabaret show. For all types of parties, young and old, Komedia is the perfect place to celebrate every Friday and Saturday.
The programme throughout the week is one of the most diverse in the UK and has recently spanned Count Arthur Strong recordings for BBC Radio 4 to Silent Disco Club Nights alongside music events from Seth Lakeman to Ronnie Size. Touring comics have included Russell Howard, Reginald D Hunter and Rhod Gilbert to name but a few.
The venue is also open throughout the day with its 'canteen' cooking up the best in local and seasonal produce.

Box Office: out Box office is open at door opening times of each show and on Saturday from 12 noon.
Sometimes tickets are available at the door but we recommend you book in advance.
