Queen's Jubilee Picnic in the Park

To celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee on 5 June 2012 Bath is staging a major celebration in Victoria Park. A stage with two giant screens will be set up at the bottom of the natural gradient in Royal Victoria Park to allow the public to picnic and watch the Jubilee celebrations. The programme will feature performances including the Bath Philharmonia Orchestra and a host of young emerging pop artists. The evening climaxes with the leading ABBA tribute act Björn Again. The public are encouraged to dress up in retro cloths and styling from 1977 when the Queen celebrated her silver jubilee. Dancing shoes on please!
