Christmas Shopping in Bath

Bath offers a unique shopping experience with a fabulous selection of small independent shops and stylish boutiques alongside the familiar big name stores and exclusive designer brands.

For distinctively different Christmas gift ideas explore the picturesque passageways in the upper town or browse through the intriguing alleyways around the magnificent Bath Abbey. If you're looking for designer fashion then head for bustling Milsom Street, or combine some retail therapy with a leisurely lunch at Milsom Place.

A major addition for Bath is the new SouthGate shopping development. SouthGate has an eclectic mix of shops including Kurt Geiger, All Saints, Tommy Hillfiger and popular high street shops such as New Look and H&M.  More shops are due to open in the final phase this Autumn which will also welcome a flagship, 125,000 sq ft, Debenhams department store.

If you love bags then a visit to the Mulberry Factory Shop is a must, located only a short drive from Bath you'll find many of the latest top quality designs on sale.

For a real festive shopping treat head to Bath's famous Christmas market (25th November - 12th December). This year the market is celebrating it's 10th year of success and has been extended to 18 days. Alternatively, enjoy a shopping break in the New Year and bag a bargain in the January sales.
