What could be better than a weekend of ale trails, tap takeovers, talks and tastings? Well the answer is two weekends!

In true Oktoberfest style, Bath’s independent pubs, bottle shops and brewers are coming together for a new festival which will celebrate all things local from Friday 30 September until Sunday 9 October.

Bathtoberfest's programme includes local pub favourites such as The Grapes, The Bell, Old Green Tree and The Raven, the line-up also includes bottle shops Independent Spirit, Kingsmead Bottle and Brewed Boy, as well as Bath's own Electric Bear Brewing Co. You can also expect live music and entertainment at many of the participating venues.

You can grab a map from any of the venues, the Bath BID office or a Welcome Ambassador. Make sure to get a sticker in each venue you visit (we challenge you to collect them all!) and tag your photos on the Bathtoberfest Instagram and Twitter accounts to win some fabulous prizes. See the full festival line-up on the Bathotberfest website.
