Sample the horrifyingly good luxury mulled wine at Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein. The interactive multi-sensory attraction explores the writer’s complex life and is home to Bloody Mary's Bar.
The bar uses an original Victorian recipe for their mulled wine, blending claret, cider and orange and brewing a batch daily with fresh ingredients. They guarantee it’s the best in Bath - pop in and put it to the taste test!

Sri Lankan Festive Specials at The Coconut Tree
The Coconut Tree is celebrating ‘island spice and all things nice’ this Christmas, with seasonal twists on their menu of Sri Lankan street food dishes. Try a beetroot ‘Ho Ho Hopper’ with cranberry lunu miris (cranberry and onion relish) and curry leaf sambol; Sri Lankan style split sprouts and cashews; and pimped up turkey baubles with a pot of cranberry sauce.
The ‘Santa Lanka’ cocotail is the perfect accompaniment to dinner. It’s a decadent combo of warming Christmas tipples – Ceylon Arrack, vodka, crisp apple juice, spicy ginger beer and a dusting of sweet Sri Lankan cinnamon.

Cocktails and Desserts at The Ivy Bath Brasserie
Alongside some new winter warmer dishes, The Ivy has a limited-edition cocktail menu and a trio of desserts to savour over the festive season. The sweet treats are warm mini mince pies served with hazelnut and brandy cream; a mouth-watering steamed Christmas pudding with almonds, redcurrants and brandy cream; and the snowball fight, featuring brandy ice cream, and a white chocolate, gingerbread, and cream sauce.
Yuletide tipples include a Red Robin, made with bourbon, lemon, pomegranate, honey and apple cider. And the Christmas Star – a festive delight incorporating Roku Gin, star anis, pineapple, lemon and Crème de Mure.

For cold treats infused with warm wintry flavours, pay a visit to Italian-style gelateria Swoon. There are two new Christmas flavours on the counter: Christmas pudding topped with brandy sauce and gingerbread.
