Demuths Cookery School


Demuths Cookery School is the country's leading vegetarian and vegan cookery school, run by professional chef and restaurateur Rachel Demuth, herself a pioneer of vegetarian, vegan and organic cooking.

Demuths Cookery School aims to both share and inspire vegetarian and vegan ways of working with food. Its ethos is that food is a pleasure to cook, eat and share, and its aim is impress students with the variety and flavour of vegetarian dishes and give them the confidence to cook them at home for friends and family.

The courses are highly instructive and hands on, catering for mixed abilities - from the greenest beginner to the highly experienced. Choose from a wide range of courses, including Asian Street Food, Fast and Delicious or 30 Minute Suppers.

The school's range of vegan classes, including Gourmet Vegan and Vegan Cakes and Puddings are proving increasingly popular. Each course caters for a maximum of 12 people cooking a number of different dishes on each day. At the end of the day students enjoy the food they've created. 

The school also runs longer Vegan Diploma courses for those looking to truly immerse themselves in the world of vegan cooking and further their knowledge and skills.

Demuths offer private bookings for parties, hen celebrations, corporate and business groups and special events. Catering can be provided for special events such as wine tastings, book launches and product demonstrations.
