Lansdown Golf Club

About

Established in 1894, Lansdown Golf Club is a private members' club situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. The Club is renowned for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which golfers, social members, guests and visitors can enjoy. The superbly conditioned parkland course, originally designed by Harry Colt, is built on the southerly edge of the Cotswold escarpment.

The 6,445-yard, par 71 course with a SSS of 71 has something to interest and challenge golfers at all levels. Built on a plateau, it is a pleasurable walk with no hills to negotiate and is an ideal venue for visiting golfers and societies large and small. Being located on a plateau also means that drainage is excellent so the course stays open and dry all year round. On a fine day there are breathtaking views over the Bristol Channel to the Brecon Beacons.

The clubhouse itself offers a nineteenth hole bar, a comfortable spacious lounge, separate restaurant and a large patio overlooking the first tee. The Club is renowned for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which golfers, social members, guests and visitors can unwind.
