Visit Bath has a highly experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic events team which works throughout the year to ensure that residents and visitors to the city experience and enjoy the uniqueness and exclusivity that Bath can offer. The events team deliver the award-winning Bath Christmas Market which is integral to Bath's events calendar.

Bath Christmas Market

Visit Bath became event organisers of Bath Christmas Market in 2004, and over the years have successfully grown and developed this magical award-winning Christmas shopping event to be the biggest Christmas Market in the South West. The market continues to provide a huge economic boost to Bath and the surrounding areas by attracting both new and repeat visitors. As a direct result of the 2016 market, a staggering £21 million was spent - £5.1m at the Market with a further £16m across the city – in shops, restaurants, attractions and accommodation. By engaging with predominantly local craftsmen and businesses Visit Bath offers these gifted artisans the opportunity to showcase their quality products to a large audience – around 413,000 over the 18 day period in 2017.
