The Urban Garden

About

Located in the centre of Royal Victoria Park, The Urban Garden is ‘The smallest garden centre with the biggest heart’. A calm oasis where you can buy a range of stylish plants and gifts for garden and home. They have a beautiful tropical glasshouse bursting with houseplants and also a kiosk selling delicious coffee, ice cream and cake. An ideal stop off on route from the Royal Crescent to the Botanical Gardens!

They are the new kids on the block, bringing fresh ideas and community values to our garden centre.  As a social enterprise, they aim to do business differently and our profits fund a programme of horticultural therapy and training behind the scenes; improving the mental health and wellbeing of adults of all ages.

They believe in the gentle spread of nature through gardening. They only buy natural and sustainable products, they don’t sell peat-based compost, and they minimise the plastic leaving their Garden Centre.

They look forward to seeing you soon.
