Wonderful photo opportunities await you here amongst the honey-coloured stone cottages. Castle Combe is a favourite filming location for Hollywood movies including War Horse and Doctor Dolittle.

Explore the quintessential English village of Lacock, which dates back to the 13th century and where cars are the only sign of modern-day life. Little wonder that it has also been used as a filming location for Downton Abbey, Harry Potter and Pride and Prejudice. The ancient Abbey boasts a charming museum that celebrates the achievements of William Henry Fox Talbot, the co-inventor of photography in 1839.

The award-winning Grade I listed Iford Gardens will transport you to a privately owned paradise, used to film The Secret Garden in 2020. After lunch in a traditional country pub, we will travel the short distance to Prior Park, from where you will enjoy panoramic views over the city of Bath. Stroll across the romantic Palladian Bridge and possibly catch a glimpse of the resident kingfishers as they swoop down from the ancient surrounding woodland.
