Bath Taps into Science Festival

The Bath Taps into Science Festival is a weeklong festival, which aims to inspire and enthuse young students and families with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). This year the festival will run from 10th-17th March.

The festival is composed of an Education programme and a Public Programme.

The Education Programme offers interactive workshops and activities to schools throughout the week and ends in the huge Schools Science Fair on 16th March.

The Public Programme kicks off with our launch event on the 10th March, where we’ll have liquid nitrogen demonstrations, Discovery Dome Shows and a talk about ‘The Scientific Secrets of Dr Who’.  Then, throughout the week there will be a number of talks and discussions, ranging from plastic pollution, to new cancer treatments, with something for all the family to enjoy.

The festival concludes with the Family Science Fair at the Recreation ground in Bath City Centre, on Saturday the 17th March.
