Rewilding projects take place across the UK each year, working to restore ecosystems and secure a positive future for the next generation. Nick Upton, is a behavioural zoologist and award-winning photographer and filmmaker who has captured some of these projects, including the reintroduction of Common Crane to the Somerset Levels and Beavers to the River Otter in Devon, as well as the many local wildlife riches that can be found in the South West.

Throughout his impressive career, Nick has worked with Sir David Attenborough and written, directed and produced many wildlife films for the BBC. He won the documentary category of the British Wildlife Photography Awards in 2014 and 2016. His work has appeared in National Geographic magazine, and he regularly contributes to BBC Wildlife and Wiltshire Life magazine, as well as producing work for the Wildlife Trusts and the National Trust.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from and meet a professional photographer with over 25 years’ experience, and for those who share an interest in our environment and the rewilding projects that take place in the UK.
