Voluntary donations welcomed!

This December Bath will again have a very special Christmas Tree Festival - located in the historic buildings of the Bath Central United Reformed Church.

From 2015, with 1477 visitors to date - £2,148 has been given so far to support the important work of vital community charities – Bath Carers Centre, Bath Child Contact Centre, Headway Bath and District; Children's Hospice South West, and Genesis Trust.

Lots of trees placed by community groups, service clubs or charities will be on display.  Some trees will be traditional.  Others will be creative or alternative takes on the seasonal tree.  The decoration of each tree highlighting the aims and purposes of the group, club or charity concerned.

As a 'thank you' for all their work, from the 1980's onwards, this year's charities will be – the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group which is the local charity supporting the local cancer unit at the Royal United Hospital; and Julian House which offers direct support to the socially excluded, thereby empowering the building of sustainable independent lives.

By making a voluntary donation during your visit to the festival, your donation can help make a real difference to the individuals and their families helped by our nominated charities.
