About

Eleanor Morton Has Peaked

Edinburgh comedian and reluctant online hit Eleanor Morton presents a brand new stand-up show. In 2020, Eleanor climbed a hill, and that was all she achieved that year. Eleanor Morton presents a brand new hour about failures, goals and trying. Sharp, silly stand-up with the occasional character and sketch. Eleanor is a Scottish comedian and writer. Her 2019 Fringe show ‘Post-Morton’ was one of the Fest’s Picks of the Fringe.
Praise for ‘Post Morton’
“A nuanced and exceedingly funny hour” ★★★★ – Fest
★★★★★ – Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

Stuart Laws – Putting Zoo WIP

Stuart is an observational comedian who doesn’t fully understand what he’s observed. So he’s written a show to explain it to you, using jokes and funny stories. As recently seen in his Prime series Grave New World, you might know him from his viral twitter thread about a woman moving dirty plates onto another woman’s table, his impression of Michael Caine saying NEVER in Batman or the time he phoned a mobile phone number on the side of a horse. (It’s putting as in golf, not to move or place in a particular position.)

Ed MacArthur WIP

Ed is a multi-instrumentalist comedian and performer. His comedy songs have featured on Sky, BBC RADIO 4 & BBC RADIO SCOTLAND, with two albums on Spotify and Apple Music. Solo shows at the Fringe include Ed MacArthur: Humoresque and the cult-hit Stack (‘madcap energy, intuitive comic timing and whip-smart script’ Fest). Other acting credits include the critically acclaimed Murder For Two

‘MacArthur has talent in spades’ – Dominic Cavendish, The Daily Telegraph,

‘Ed MacArthur has natural charm and considerable skill’ – Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
