11 & 25 Aug | Family Fridays Workshops | Free |  Ages 5+
New Views of the Crescent- What is your view through the sash windows of No. 1? A Georgian sedan chair, a pastoral scene or perhaps a contemporary take such as families on a picnic or tourists on a bus.

At our Family Friday workshops, families can create their unique views on a fabric square with the help of Beverley Ferguson, No. 1’s Artist in Residence, using a range of art resources. The work produced will be joined together to form a vibrant hanging similar to this one and it will feature in an exhibition at No.1 at the end of 2017.

11 Aug 11:00-15:00 - Focus on Printmaking and Sewing – use paint, stamps and thread to create your piece.
25 Aug 11:00-15:00 - Try the skills of Appliqué and Collage – combine materials and paper on your fabric square.
